Scheduling Interviews and Developing Questions
I have decided for this magazine I will interview my sister Emilee. She's a college student and I find her to be fairly fashionable, therefore I thought she'd make a great subject to ask about style and confidence at her age. As my magazine and many others target audiences of teenage and college-level girls, I believe it's important and relevant to have a regular girl such as Emilee talking about inspirations, along with feelings about style that most all can relate to. Scheduling this interview was simple because the subject is my own sister, so I asked her if she's be willing to answer a few questions about fashion and self-confidence, then scheduled to interview her on December 16th. A few of the questions I decided on asking included, "As a student now in college, what inspires your fashion choices? Do you draw inspiration from peers, art, trends, etc.?", "How would you define the term "fashion"?, and "How do you work on having self-confidence in your fashion choices?" I felt that these few questions really tackled issues girls in today's society deal with in how they look, and having an interview that touched on that while empowering girls was perfect for my magazine.
